S.O.S.

I have a household tip for you that I discovered, and LOVE! I love to use my crockpot (that's not what I discovered, lol). Pop it in and at dinner it's ready! However I avoided using my crockpot for a long time because I hated cleaning it. Oh what a pain. One day I had an SOS pad sitting out and started to use it on my crock pot. It was like wiping butter off a knife! I was so excited! So now, I buy a box of the cheap brand SOS pads from the dollar store, and use my crock pot without the fret of cleanup!

One more awesome use for an SOS pad? Stainless Steel Sink. LOVE it! Scrubs it right clean.

Go ahead, clean your sink, you know you want to! :) haha

72 hour kits

I am worried about all the friends being affected by the tornados. So scary!! I've heard of many with their 72 hour kits by their side as they sit in their bath tubs. (I am a native Californian, my sister had to explain to me why the bath tub! lol) So many things going on in the world. Are we prepared? I for one am checking my personal status. 72 hour kits are pretty well stocked but need a few things. My prayers are with those in tornado watch!

Zone 3: Mission #5 Friday

Dear Friends:
Today I want you to grab those old toothbrushes that you have just for cleaning and scrub those sink faucets and tub faucets. It is amazing how gross those faucets can get! Just a little soap and water with the toothbrush will make a huge difference! I know this is one of those missions that makes you groan but it takes less than 5 minutes to do and those faucets will shine!
For the Guest/Extra Room:
It does not mater if you still have clutter in this room, after this week of missions you have made a dent in it and you now know the BabySteps to use to continue de-cluttering. Today you are going to vacuum the floor. Even if there is only a little bit of floor showing that is fine. Just vacuum what you can. When we can see we are making progress we are able to stay motivated and not feel defeated.

Remember, Progress not Perfection!
Have fun!

My Sweetums

My reason for breathing, right here. Love these sweet little beauties! CSB 240

My handsome boys. What’s not to love!?CSB 279

The other day I was thinking about the little things that life gives us that keep us happy. Being a mother is so wonderful and is full of the little fun happy moments.

Here are some of my (5) favorite things about being a mom:

- I get to hear Jingle Bells sung every day!

- I never have a shortage of snuggles.

- Giggles happen to be my favorite sound in the whole world.

- I love the challenges that help me grow as a person.

- Being a mother helps me to know just how much my Heavenly Father loves each one of us.

On Mother’s Day, I heard this quote. It made me realize that perfection (which us moms always strive for right!?) is in the eye of the beholder. :)

"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."
