My reason for breathing, right here. Love these sweet little beauties!
My handsome boys. What’s not to love!?
The other day I was thinking about the little things that life gives us that keep us happy. Being a mother is so wonderful and is full of the little fun happy moments.
Here are some of my (5) favorite things about being a mom:
- I get to hear Jingle Bells sung every day!
- I never have a shortage of snuggles.
- Giggles happen to be my favorite sound in the whole world.
- I love the challenges that help me grow as a person.
- Being a mother helps me to know just how much my Heavenly Father loves each one of us.
On Mother’s Day, I heard this quote. It made me realize that perfection (which us moms always strive for right!?) is in the eye of the beholder. :)
"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."
